Built Differently for Canadian Specialty Buyers
Six structural advantages roasters, cafés, and importers cannot find in any other Colombian supplier.

Named-Producer Traceability
Edinson Argote & Angela Rojas at Finca Quebraditas (Huila) and Jaime & Lucidia Laverde at El Rubiconcito (Antioquia). Every bag carries the grower's name, farm altitude, and harvest details.
Thermal Shock — Our Signature
Heat-arrested fermentation developed by Edinson Argote. Ripe cherries inoculated with selected yeasts → submerged in 60°C water → fermentation locked at peak sweetness.
Clear USD Payment Options
Available methods and any applicable fees are confirmed with the order. Stripe-hosted card checkout is available for the server-validated wholesale coffee subtotal; payment status is verified before fulfillment.
Roasted to Order — or Green for Roasters

Two Families. Two Farms. One Standard.
Every Senda Dorada lot — roasted or green — comes from one of two named family farms. No aggregators, no anonymous lots. You always know exactly whose hands grew your coffee.
Edinson Argote & Angela Rojas
Creators of the Thermal Shock Process · 1,600–1,850m · Colombian Macizo
Edinson drives what he calls "the coffee revolution from the countryside"; Angela brings coffee tradition and management with purpose. Together they run 18 hectares of strategic-shade cultivation in the Oporapa mountains — where they developed the Thermal Shock fermentation with yeast inoculation that defines the Senda Dorada cup.
Their garden of varieties reads like a collector's list: Geisha, Eugenioides, Bourbon Pointu (Laurina), Wush Wush, Sudan Rume, Pacamara, Java, Bourbon Ají, Papayo and Arará — alongside the Caturra and Colombia lots that anchor our Core tier. 38 of our 43 lots are born here.
Their named-producer lots are represented through Senda Dorada LLC with farm and process traceability; allocation is confirmed per order.
Jaime Laverde & Lucidia
Founders & Owners · 30+ Years · Suroeste Antioqueño · 1,600m
For more than three decades, Jaime Laverde and his wife Lucidia have worked El Rubiconcito in the western Andes of Antioquia — the family farm that gives Senda Dorada its name and its roots. This is the Laverde family's own land, and every harvest still passes through their hands.
El Rubiconcito's distinctive microclimate is home to our rare-genetics lots: SL-28 (Kenyan lineage adapted over generations) and Chiroso — in washed and natural processes that regularly cup at SCA 86.5–87.
When you buy from us, you know both families by name. That's what direct trade really means.
See the place Jaime and Lucidia have cultivated for more than 30 years.
Real harvest footage from El Rubiconcito in Betulia, Antioquia—the Laverde family farm behind the Senda Dorada name. The full vertical frame is preserved so the field, people and picking work stay visible.
Its microclimate is home to the SL-28 and Chiroso lots in the current catalog. Availability, harvest and process are still confirmed for the exact lot you request.
Life at Our Farms

The Humans on the Other End of Your Order
You have met the growers. These are the two people who quote your order, confirm availability and answer when something changes.
Senda Dorada LLC is small on purpose. Diego handles selection and commercial follow-up; Diana handles the order process and the questions that come after it. There is no ticket queue between you and them.
They cup and sell these same lots at origin, in Huila and Antioquia — which is also why availability, freight and preparation are confirmed by a person before anything is prepared, rather than promised by a website.
Two Terroirs. Named Producers. Zero Anonymity.
We source exclusively from identified producers at altitude — never from anonymous cooperative lots. Every bag tells you who grew it and where.
Huila Highlands
High-altitude volcanic soils in the Oporapa mountains of Huila — Colombia's most celebrated coffee region. Our Huila lots are crafted by Edinson Argote & Angela Rojas at Finca Quebraditas, where they created our Thermal Shock fermentation process — their harvest reaches North America exclusively through Senda Dorada. 39 of our 43 varieties originate from this terroir.
El Rubiconcito
In the Suroeste Antioqueño highlands, Jaime Laverde and his wife Lucidia have worked El Rubiconcito for over 30 years — the Laverde family farm behind the Senda Dorada name. Its distinctive microclimate is home to SL-28 (Kenyan genetics adapted over generations) and Chiroso — both washed and natural processed.
From Finca Quebraditas (Oporapa, Huila) & El Rubiconcito (Betulia, Antioquia) — preparation, transport responsibilities and delivery estimates are confirmed for each order.
Green coffee is prepared and labelled; roasted coffee is roasted and packed in Antioquia after confirmation.
The selected service, applicable shipment documents and transport estimate are reviewed for the destination.
Dispatch and delivery estimates stay separate. DDP, DAP or EXW responsibilities appear on the confirmed order.

Our interpretation of thermal-shock fermentation, refined over years by Edinson Argote & Angela Rojas at Finca Quebraditas in the Huila highlands. A careful 4-step method that locks in sweetness, clarity, and vibrant complexity — and a cup profile we control end to end.
Cherry Selection
Only ripe, hand-selected cherries accepted. Strict density sorting eliminates all defects before processing begins.
Yeast Inoculation
Selected native and cultured yeasts introduced to the cherry mass. Anaerobic fermentation in sealed tanks for 48–120 hours per variety.
Thermal Shock
At the precise fermentation peak, cherries are submerged in 60°C water. Heat arrests all active fermentation — sealing in fruit complexity.
Raised-Bed Drying
Extended drying on African raised beds for 3–4 weeks. Triple-sorted by density and color. Every bag cup-quality certified.
Real Cups. Real Scores. No Guessing.
Every variety is SCA-scored and cup-verified at origin before shipping. These are three of our most requested lots — with the notes and numbers to prove it.

Common Questions
How fresh does the coffee arrive?
Roasted orders are scheduled around the confirmed roasting and dispatch plan. The team communicates a dispatch estimate and a separate delivery estimate after the lot, destination and transport service are confirmed.
Who handles importing, CBSA customs and CFIA requirements?
Responsibilities depend on the selected Incoterm. For applicable DDP shipments into Canada, Senda Dorada coordinates the required export/import process, the CBSA entry through CARM and the Safe Food for Canadians filings for each applicable food shipment. Coffee under HS 0901 is duty-free into Canada, but 5% federal GST applies on the customs value at import; treatment depends on origin, classification and supporting documentation and is not represented as universal legal advice. Read the plain-language Trust Center →
Does an order request reserve a lot? When do I actually pay?
No. A draft or request does not hold inventory. For manual payment, the team first confirms origin availability, freight and the applicable invoice terms. The separate Stripe path charges the server-validated wholesale coffee subtotal; its return page remains neutral until signed payment confirmation and team verification.
What is the Thermal Shock process?
Created by Edinson Argote & Angela Rojas at Finca Quebraditas in the Huila highlands: ripe cherries are inoculated with selected yeasts, then submerged in 60°C water at peak fermentation. The heat shock arrests all active fermentation — locking in sweetness and vibrant floral complexity for an exceptionally clean, stable cup. Their harvest reaches North America exclusively through Senda Dorada.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The wholesale minimum remains 10 kg, up to 250 kg in the online flow. A 1 kg sample is a separate commercial path: choose one current SKU and format, then confirm transport and availability before payment.
What's the difference between your Roasted and Green coffee lines?
Both formats come from the current catalog and preserve farm and process traceability. Roasted is prepared for cafés, hospitality, subscriptions and retail programs. Green / unroasted is intended for professional roasters who control their own roast profile. Availability, preparation and dispatch windows are confirmed per lot.
Do you offer volume discounts or loyalty benefits?
Three stacked benefits: (1) Per-order volume — Roasted: 50 kg+ = 5% · 100 kg+ = 10%. Green: 50 kg+ = 6% · 100 kg+ = 12%. 250 kg+ = custom pricing (Diana negotiates directly). (2) Welcome-back reward: automatic 5% off your entire 2nd wholesale order (within 6 months of the 1st). (3) Loyalty: 10% off from your 6th order onward. Monthly subscription programs available — ask Diego.
Can I try before committing to a wholesale order?
Yes. Choose a 1 kg green or roasted sample of a current SKU. The selector shows the coffee component, verification state and credit conditions; transport is always confirmed separately before payment. Open the sample selector →
What is your cancellation or damage policy?
Paid orders are reviewed against availability and the preparation stage. Damage claims require prompt notice and supporting photos. Exact eligibility, timing and remedies are described in the Terms of Service and confirmed on the order documents.
